Resolve Conflict

29 August 2024

In today’s world, conflict feels more widespread than ever—reaching not only across countries and borders but even into our homes and relationships. Some have become so accustomed to anger and aggression that they seem to crave conflict, mistaking the adrenaline rush it brings for something positive. They argue that conflict can drive change and progress, unaware of the toll it takes on their well-being.

At its core, conflict arises from our attachment to certain beliefs or positions. This attachment breeds fear, and fear, if left unchecked, slowly destroys us from within.

The key to resolving conflict lies in letting go—detaching from the need to hold onto our positions. This can be challenging, but it becomes easier when we realize that ownership is an illusion. We truly have nothing to lose, and in the end, there are no real victories in winning a conflict. Peace comes when we release our grip and allow things to flow naturally.
